Privacy Policy

Stow lets you set aside things you see on the internet so you can find them later. This page explains what the app stores, what it does not, and what happens with it. We kept it short; if something is unclear, ask.
In short
- Your stows live on your device. You can use the app without an account.
- Shared collections and stows you send travel to the server end-to-end encrypted. Only you and the people you invite can open them; we cannot.
- We never ask for your social media passwords and never connect to your accounts.
- No ads, tracking or analytics. We do not sell or share your data.
What stays on your device
Links, text, images and files you send to Stow from the share sheet, plus your notes, tags, collections and reminders, are kept in a database on your device. It is included in your iCloud backup according to your device settings; you can also export or import a backup file from Settings. Face ID lock works entirely on the device; no face data ever reaches Stow.
Link previews
When you save a link, Stow downloads that page directly from your device to show its title and cover image, the same way Messages or Notes do. The request does not pass through our servers. The source site sees what it sees for any device requesting the page: your IP address and a "Stow" user agent.
If you create an account
Shared collections and sending require an account, created with Apple, Google or a link emailed to you. The server keeps:
- Your email address and the identifier from your sign-in provider. With Apple you can choose "Hide My Email".
- The display name and avatar colour you choose; they are shown to the people in your collections.
- Your device's public key. The private key stays in your device's keychain and is never sent.
- Which collections you belong to, invite link expiry times, and monthly usage counters (for plan limits).
Shared collections and sent stows
When you share a collection or send a stow, the content is encrypted on your device; only the ciphertext and its size reach the server. The collection name is encrypted too. The key travels in the part of the invite link after the #, which browsers never send to servers. The server knows who belongs to which collection and when data was written; it does not know the content. The key is rotated when someone leaves or is removed.
Sent stows are one-time: they are deleted from the server once received or expired.
Service providers
- Supabase: database and authentication for accounts and encrypted data.
- Cloudflare: this website and the pages that open invite links. Cloudflare keeps access logs briefly under its own policy.
- Apple and Google: only for the sign-in method you choose.
There are no other third parties. No crash reports or usage statistics are collected.
Deletion
You can delete stows at any time; deleted items wait briefly in Trash, then are gone for good. To delete your account, write to hello@stowsave.app; all server records (memberships, encrypted data, keys, email) are removed. One-tap deletion inside the app is coming soon. Uninstalling the app deletes the data on the device but not your account.
Children
Stow is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Kısaca

- Ortak koleksiyonlar ve gönderdiğin stowlar sunucuya uçtan uca şifreli gider. İçeriğini yalnızca sen ve davet ettiğin kişiler açabilir; biz açamayız.
- Sosyal medya şifreni hiç istemeyiz, hesaplarına bağlanmayız.
- Reklam, takip ya da analitik aracı yok. Verini satmayız, kimseyle paylaşmayız.
Cihazında kalanlar
Paylaş menüsünden Stow'a gönderdiğin bağlantılar, metinler, görseller ve dosyalar; yazdığın notlar, etiketler, koleksiyonlar ve hatırlatmalar cihazındaki veritabanında saklanır. Bu veri iCloud yedeğine cihazının ayarlarına göre dahil olur; ayrıca Ayarlar'dan bir yedek dosyası alabilir ya da içe aktarabilirsin. Face ID ile kilit tamamen cihazda çalışır; yüz verisi Stow'a hiç ulaşmaz.
Bağlantı önizlemeleri
Bir bağlantı kaydettiğinde Stow, başlığını ve kapak görselini göstermek için o sayfayı doğrudan cihazından indirir, tıpkı Mesajlar ya da Notlar'ın yaptığı gibi. Bu istek bizim sunucumuzdan geçmez. Kaynak site, sayfasını isteyen her cihazın gördüğü bilgiyi (IP adresi, "Stow" tarayıcı kimliği) görür.
Hesap açarsan
Ortak koleksiyon ve gönderme özellikleri için hesap gerekir. Hesap Apple ile, Google ile ya da e-postana gelen bağlantıyla açılır. Sunucuda şunlar tutulur:
- E-posta adresin ve giriş sağlayıcının verdiği kimlik. Apple'da "e-postamı gizle" seçebilirsin.
- Seçtiğin görünen ad ve avatar rengi. Bunlar koleksiyon arkadaşlarına gösterilir.
- Cihazının açık anahtarı. Gizli anahtar cihazının anahtar zincirinde kalır, hiçbir zaman gönderilmez.
- Hangi koleksiyonlara üye olduğun, davet bağlantılarının süreleri ve aylık kullanım sayaçları (plan sınırları için).
Ortak koleksiyonlar ve gönderilen stowlar
Bir koleksiyonu paylaştığında ya da birine stow gönderdiğinde içerik cihazında şifrelenir, sunucuya yalnızca şifreli hali ve boyutu ulaşır. Koleksiyonun adı da şifrelidir. Anahtar, davet bağlantısının # işaretinden sonraki kısmında taşınır; bu kısım tarayıcılar tarafından sunucuya gönderilmez. Sunucu, kimin hangi koleksiyonda olduğunu ve ne zaman veri yazıldığını bilir; içeriği bilmez. Bir koleksiyondan ayrıldığında ya da biri çıkarıldığında anahtar yenilenir.
Gönderilen stowlar tek seferliktir: alıcı aldığında ya da süresi dolduğunda sunucudan silinir.
Hizmet sağlayıcılar
- Supabase: hesaplar ve şifreli veri için veritabanı ve kimlik doğrulama altyapısı.
- Cloudflare: bu web sitesi ve davet bağlantılarının açıldığı sayfalar. Cloudflare, erişim günlüklerini kendi politikası uyarınca kısa süre tutar.
- Apple ve Google: yalnızca seçtiğin giriş yöntemi için.
Başka üçüncü taraf yoktur. Çökme raporları ve kullanım istatistikleri toplanmaz.
Silme
Stowlarını uygulamadan istediğin an silebilirsin; silinenler kısa süre Çöp'te bekler, sonra kalıcı olarak gider. Hesabını silmek için hello@stowsave.app adresine yazman yeterli; sunucudaki tüm kayıtların (üyelikler, şifreli veriler, anahtarlar, e-posta) silinir. Uygulama içinden tek dokunuşla silme yakında eklenecek. Uygulamayı kaldırmak cihazdaki veriyi siler, hesabını silmez.
Çocuklar
Stow 13 yaşından küçükler için tasarlanmamıştır ve onlardan bilerek veri toplamaz.
